after 4 weeks.
So many animals are being reunited. So many are still searching for their homes. So many still wandering around lost. Please continue to donate. So many of those animals in shelters will need places to go and that is where the rescue groups will step in. We pray that there will be money to help them. Although the chipin says $11k+, please note that is not what is left in the paypal account after lots of donations to help with vet care for those injured and for livestock feed for the livestock animals in rural areas.
Thank you for all your continued support and efforts.
For the love of the animals.

Who we are
Can you believe it was almost two weeks ago that we all came together to rally for Animals Lost & Found from the Tornadoes in Alabama on 4/27/11? They say that during trying times like these, you get to see the best in people. And we are thrilled to confirm that because of you, it's true! The facebook page has connected pets and owners all over the state, created new friendships and allowed a space for those to donate to a cause they felt passionate about. Our small group of members are affiliated with diverse Central Alabama animal rescues such as Have a Heart (Founder and President), Hale County Humane Society, Animal Aid Fund, S.A.V.E (Spay/Neuter Assistance Org), Bama Bully/BJC Animal Control, Peace Love and Dog Paws, Friends of Cats and Dogs. Our mission has been to assist those directly affected and those who have offered services to Animals Lost & Found from the Tornadoes in Alabama on 4/27/11. And since the alliance of Greater Birmingham Humane Society, BJC Animal Control and the Humane Society of the United States was so strong and making significant strides in Jefferson and Tuscaloosa counties, we set our sights on the rest who may need a helping hand. It's been an amazing journey of hope and renewal. Our group is pleased to report your kind donations have supported shelters and clinics who have gone above and beyond in the following counties: JEFFERSON COUNTY, ST CLAIR COUNTY, TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, HALE COUNTY and MONTGOMERY COUNTY. We have donated livestock feed (3 tons) to those in need in Shoal Creek and other devastated areas. We have helped reunite many animals with their loving families.
This is only the beginning of renewal and rebuilding for so many in our beloved Alabama. We have many more exciting stories to share with you. Please stay the course with us as we continue to support those who need you.
For the pets,
